Greetings:
My name is Michael A. Campanelli and I welcome you to my web page. Born in Detroit, Michigan during the fifties, I am now making my home in Eagle Point, Oregon with my wife Sue and Jeff the youngest of our three children.

Never one to miss an opportunity for another road adventure, a somewhat valid reason for such a trip came along in February, 2002. The basketball team our older son played on the year before was headed to the Detroit area for a National Tournament. Being the fan that I am of Northwest Christian College, a road trip was forthcoming. Pondering a west coast to the Great Lakes journey, I decided to take the “Highway That’s the Best” - Route 66.

I picked up Route 66 on the shores of the Pacific Ocean and left it eight days later at the shores of Lake Michigan. For eight days I traveled every mile of the highway I could find. Along the way I took the time to take 1,100 photographs using a 35 mm Pentax Camera and a single lens.

These images from that trip are part of a show I have assembled to be shown at John Ascuaga’s Nugget in Sparks, Nevada during Hot august Nights from July 29th - August 6th.

What I offer for sale are photographs in three different sizes: 8 x 12, 16x24, and 20 x 30. All photographs will be individually printed as ordered on an Epson Stylus Pro 9600 printer. These are high quality photographs.

All photographs are limited to 44 prints regardless of size of which 40 are available for sale. They will be hand signed and numbered on the front. I will ship them with a white border to prevent damage to the corners and to allow room for matting should you desire. Personally, I have my show prints mounted on foam board and then insert them into black poster frames with Plexiglas. A word of caution with the Plexiglas, you have to be very careful as contact with most anything will scratch the surface. These photographs will be individually printed as ordered, so allow 4 weeks for delivery, 6 weeks overseas.

Wishing everyone safe travels, possibly meeting along the road.

Yours Truly,
Michael A. Campanelli
